“On December 7, your technician, Steve, cleared my residential sewer line.  Although there were some complications, and it took longer then Steve expected, we were still only charged $99.00.
 
Steve was extremely professional and treated our home as if it were his own.  He arrived on time, did what he said he would do, and then thoroughly cleaned up. It’s refreshing, especially in this ‘lack of quality age’, to know at least one company still practices the values of great customer service. Your technician, Doug, showed up when promised, in fact he beat ME home. Being a DIY guy, I very much need to know how things work and have lots of questions. This tends to annoy most service professionals; Doug, on the other hand, answered all my questions without ever seeming agitated or stopping what he was doing to talk (which is exceptional). He was courteous, careful, informative, respectful and completely trustworthy. He went above and beyond to do things as efficiently as possible while still taking the time to deal with me.  “Since Horizon replaced my heat pump a few years ago, I have been very happy with my heat pump and the yearly maintenance performed. Last week , Bryan Reisz came to my house to perform this year’s maintenance.  Bryan did such a great job!  He was very respectful and consciously aware of being clean. He was the first technician that actually wore shoe covers in my house!  He did a very thorough job and had explained everything about the work he was doing. “On Tuesday, I was called to come home from work due water gushing out of my front lawn.  The water company informed me that my main water pipe from the street to the house had broken and that it was my problem to fix.  I immediately called Horizon Services, since I have had a Service Partner Plan agreement with you for a number of years.

Your service tech, John, arrived at my house within a half an hour.  When he told me my estimate of $4,290.00 I almost had a heart attack.  In this economy that was not a bill I was prepared for.  He patiently helped me with the financing and went back to his office to get approval to fix my problem first thing the next morning.  I have always appreciated your company but John’s customer service was so outstanding that I will be a dedicated customer for the rest of my life.  I will also let everyone I know that it pays to deal with Horizon because your work is outstanding. When someone like John comes into your home, you can relax knowing that everything will be alright.

“I would like to take a moment and thank you for your outstanding service.  Over the weekend we had a toilet back-up and called Horizon for an appointment.  The service tech, Isaac, came during the allotted time and was very professional.  He diagnosed the problem in our main sewer line.  He worked on it for about 2 hours and found there to be roots and dirt clogging the line.  The next day the same problem occurred.  Isaac returned and found a substantial amount of roots and dirt in the line and immediately contacted one of your camera techs to come over ASAP. 

Isaac prepared us for the worst case scenario: that there might be a severe crack in the line and it would have to be replaced.  Later that evening, the camera tech arrived, ran the camera through the line and declared that the line was clear!  I would like to commend Isaac on his skills and persistence in clearing the line and his professionalism while working with us.  I truly believe that any other company would have charged us much more and tried to make us replace the line regardless of the issue.”David C; Dover, DE

 

“My mom and I want to express our appreciation to Ryan from Horizon for his work recently. He was very thorough in cleaning our heater and upon taking some extra time, he noticed a crack in the heater which could have led to carbon monoxide poisoning  He immediately shut it down as required. I appreciate him taking the time to explain what he found and why we need a new heater.  When he saw that my mom was upset upon finding out we needed a new heater, he was very cordial.  Ryan was a pleasure to deal with. As far as I am concerned, Ryan and his assistant saved my mom’s life! I am very grateful.
 
We also want to express our appreciation to John for his help yesterday with assisting us to get a new heating system. He took his time to evaluate tour home and was very knowledgeable about heating systems.  He even explained that our system was too big for our home. Instead of trying to sell us a system of the same, incorrect size (which would also be more expensive) we are now getting a properly-sized system.   He was on time (even a bit early) and very thoroughly explained the options available with pros and cons.  We did not feel pressured or confused at all by anything he said.  John was a pleasure to deal with.”

“I do not usually write notes to service companies, but am so impressed with your services that a note is in order. Thank you for the great customer care and service I received for my air conditioner. The technician, Hai, was personable, courteous and went out of his way to answer my questions and explain how the air system worked.  He was very detailed and thorough in diagnosing the problem, which was promptly repaired.  I was impressed with his knowledge of a 10-12 year old system and even more impressed that he had the needed parts in stock!  I expected to hear it would take a few days to get the parts, but thankfully that was not the case. Hai is an absolute professional and a great representative for your company.

“I recently had a part go bad, after just 2-1/2 years, on equipment installed by Horizon.   I knew the replacement of the part would have been at least several hundred dollars, but figured it would be covered under the warranty. What I had neglected to do (this was entirely my fault) was to transfer my yearly servicing of the new unit from my fuel oil company to Horizon. This could have negated my warranty. I was so relieved to get a call from Horizon saying that the part had been ordered and that there would be no charge. I had already prepared myself for the news that I would most likely have to pay part or all of the replacement cost. “Recently I celebrated the first year anniversary of my Trane heat pump/furnace system installation. As promised a Horizon HVAC Technician showed up to perform the one year tune-up. Marcellus was the HVAC Technician and he surpassed all of my expectations. He was thorough, polite, professional, and more than willing to answer all my questions. Being a retired electrical engineer, I am sure many of my questions were more complex than those of the average homeowner, but Marcellus answered them all with ease. “I wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the plumbing service we received yesterday. Ryan was out a few weeks ago and found two leaks in our hall bathroom that dripped down to the powder room and into the basement.  He quickly make the necessary repairs and explained that we might need to ultimately replace the wall behind the tile in the bathtub or put in a molded unit.  He then followed up with a phone call a few days later to say he would work on pricing and call back.

On Saturday there was a leak in the exact same spot through the powder room ceiling hole that was there from the first repair. Ryan did come back to our house, found a new leak and fixed the problem.  He also gave us written estimates to replace the tile and tub or another option to put in a molded unit.  Ryan’s level of customer service really impressed me!  I, too, deal with customers all day and I appreciate the time it takes to do things right. Thank you for sending Ryan back to our house.  I am now confident that the problem has been corrected until we decide what to do next with the bathtub.
