Horizon Services and WXTU Salute the Delaware Valley’s Top Student Athletes!
DATELINE: Autumn 2010
Horizon Services, Inc. – the premier plumbing, heating and air conditioning services and equipment installation company serving Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania and Maryland — and 92.5 WXTU-FM — Philadelphia’s Country Station — are pleased to announce an exciting contest to honor outstanding student athletes throughout the Delaware Valley and Greater Philadelphia area.
The Horizon Services Student Athlete Award recognizes the on- and off-field accomplishments of the region’s top scholars and athletes.
Here’s how it works:
Beginning September 13, 2010 through December 31,2010, individuals are invited to nominate a young student athlete attending an area school. Each Thursday during the 2010 Eagles Prime Time Live program on 92.5 WXTU, one winner will be selected at random from all entries received receive a prize that includes:
- Dinner for two at the following week’s Prime Time Live broadcast at Landmark Americana in Philadelphia, PA.
- An opportunity to ask a question to hosts David Akers and Stewart Bradley LIVE on that evening’s broadcast.
- A meeting and photo opportunity with the Eagles players participating in that week’s show.
- A commemorative plaque.
This contest is open to any student in good standing in grades 4 through 12 in the eight-county greater Philadelphia area who participates in an organized sport activity. Entries for will be accepted between 9/13 and 12/31/10. One nomination per student per individual will be accepted. An individual can nominate more than one student, however each nomination entry must be submitted separately. A student may be nominated more than once. Students may nominate themselves or a classmate, however no prize shall be awarded without express permission from the student’s parent or legal guardian.
No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. Contests and promotions subject to all federal, state and local laws.
