Horizon’s Latest Online Contest Makes Another Delaware Valley Resident Happy!

Mickey Snyder of West Chester, PA was selected as the winner of Horizon’s recent Where’s Dave contest, held on the Horizon Services website during the months of October/November 2010. His prize: a new Bradford-White 40-gallon electric hot water heater (Value: $1,375).
In this variation of a scavenger hunt, visitors to Horizon’s website were told that “Dave” – the waving technician seen on the back of Horizon’s trucks – was missing somewhere in the Delaware Valley. To enter the contest, website had to tell Horizon Services in what town in Horizon’s DE/PA/MD service area — Delaware County, Chester County, Montgomery County, New Castle County, Kent County, Cecil County — Dave could be found.
To find Dave, visitors had to visit one of the 200+ town pages on the Horizon website. On one of these pages, could be found an animated picture of Dave waving. Mr. Snyder was randomly selected as the winner from the 500+ Horizon website visitors who accurately identified which town page contained the picture of Dave.
Horizon Services install technician Nick Dicicco helped install the new water heater. Now, Mr. Snyder and his family can rest assured that they will have plenty of hot water this winter and all year round
