    The entire Horizon experience was great and far better than I ever expected, from my first contact to the final thank you and good-bye from the Horizon installers. Do not change anything Horizon does as an organization.

    We purchased a home 23 months ago with a furnace and heat pump the previous owners installed in 2003. During an annual inspection we found two leaks in the A-coil.

    We contacted a known reputable Heating and A/C company, with whom we had good experience, to get a price and ideas on options. To be cautious we obtained a second opinion from a different company and found a large variation in many facts. The second representative must have thought he was the only company I called and assumed I knew little. We later discovered he lied about several facts.

    I called Horizon last due to the irritation from the second person.

    I found a Horizon telephone number on your web site to contact. I spoke to Scott about arranging an appointment to meet a sales representative to evaluate our cooling and heating requirements. We were interested in a quality system with good warranties, reliable service, great expertise on equipment and installations. While Scott was waiting for the scheduling software to appear on his computer, he said: “Let me tell you about our employees. All our employees are background checked and drug tested. We have well trained staff and installation teams and we stand by our equipment and service.” Scott then scheduled a visit with Dave Spory at our house, 6:00PM that evening. Scott then told me the following: “This is how it will go. Our representative will spend about 90 minutes with you and show you three options for your needs. He will take measurements, and be equipped with the information to answer most all your questions. If he is uncertain about something, he will be able to contact a Horizon expert for more information.

    Dave showed up around 5:55 PM and we met, had some good casual conversation, and then went to work. Dave took measurements of each room and located all the supply registers, return vents; check the type of thermostat, measured the ductwork, the heat pump outside and collected a few other necessary information. Dave was well prepared to answer our casual and technical questions; and, we had a lot. I found I was working with an expert who was very honest and unafraid to tell us his most honest opinion, so much so that we felt we had hired him as our representative to handle our interest. Dave’s knowledge and confidence of and in Horizon came across very well. Dave showed us how we would get rebates, discounts, interest free financing for a year, and an assortment of cost cutting features. Dave showed us information on three systems:
    1. ML195-90 furnace with the 13 HPX heat pump
    2. GLV296-90 furnace with the XP14-17-21 heat pump
    3. SPLV98-90 furnace with the XP14-17-21 heat pump

    We discussed the costs and Dave helped us with cost cutting assistance. I spent two days researching the information Dave provided and using information on the internet to compare systems, quality, longevity, and service. We decided on option three with the XP21 and a remote thermostat for independent control in other rooms. We called Dave to meet again and discuss the contract and terms. We told Dave that we wanted everything he said he could deliver with the system we chose, including the service and quality installers. Our experience just got better from there.

    The following day a team of three experts came to install the equipment: Leo (lead), James, and Dennis. They were all experts and a great team. I asked many questions throughout their entire time here. Some questions were about their task; while other questions were about how they would handle certain problems. They had a solution for each situation; and, it came from a team.

    Leo, James, and Dennis were each professional, very articulate, polite, neat and clean, technically knowledgeable, and could explain what they were doing very easy. They gave me understandable and simple technical answers anyone could understand. All their work was neat, of high quality craftsmanship, and professional. I would have them back again to do other work if I needed them.

    Now we will test the Lennox systems to determine their quality and performance in the future. Call back for an update.

    HVAC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – DONALD KERR- WAS VERY FRIENDLY, RESPECTFUL AND EFFICIENT. HE INSISTED ON WEARING FOOT COVERINGS ALTHOUGH I TOLD HIM IT WAS NOT NECESSARY HE WAS PUNCTUAL, INFORMATIVE, AND OVERALL, AN EXCELLENT TECHNICIAN
    AFTER HIS MAINTENANCE, I DECIDED TO SIGN UP FOR A SERVICE PARTNER PROGRAM. BASED ON THIS VISIT I WOULD GLADLY RECOMMEND
    HORIZON SERVICES FOR ANY PLUMBING, HEATING, AND AIR CONDITIONING SERVICING.

    Horizon has had a number of technicians do service replacement ,repair and/or maintenance at our home. Every one of them I’d be proud to call them my son. Polite, courteous, knowledgeable and punctual. They all love working for Horizon as well.
