Everyone I spoke to was professional, friendly, helpful, and patient. I had heard Horizon Services was on the expensive side but worth it. The plan I purchased was less expensive than check-up visits from the two separate companies I was using for A/C and heater checks. Although for both my A/C and heater visits, parts were suggested that needed/should be replaced that were in fact not warranted. I have one more visit due according to my plan and am still deciding if I will re-up and continue using Horizon. Thankfully neither of our systems have had to be repaired so I cannot speak to that area of their service.
The new A/C unit install was the priciest option we had, but I’m confident it was the best. Just comparing the install by looks alone to my neighbor’s and what was there before, this just put it to shame. Installers worked swiftly and cleanly, and any minor issues that came up after the fact (some kind of circuit board needed replacing) were corrected quickly with no unexpected costs. Also Bill the sales rep did a tremendous job in laying out the options and explaining the whole process.
When our very old AC system died in the dead of summer we were prepared to buy a few fans to keep the house cool until a replacement unit had been installed. There was no need. The Horizon team came out the next day and had us freezing in no time. Thanks for your hard work.
These days, in my opinion, finding a reputable company you can trust is not easy. When Tim mentioned that you were looking to hire in this troubled economy, I was not at all surprised. Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the service I received today. Your technician, Tim Craven, was prompt, courteous and professional. The repair work was completed quickly and looks good.
The technician was phenomenal and helped to trouble shoot the reason why the air conditioner doesn’t cycle on and off. He took the time to explain that the thermostat was under the vent to the whole house fan; therefore, the hot air was coming down from the attic and affecting the thermostat so the system continued to run and was not turning on and off intermitently. I covered the vent with plastic as he suggested and the problem is resolved. I have been frustrated with this problem for two years and had addressed it with the company that installed our system with no resolution. I will call upon Horizon Services for any heating/air conditioning services in the future.
The service man and helper from Horizon did a great job, found a defective terminal and wire, checked my freon, etc, etc. The tune-up was well worth price!
What a top notch operation! We recently had a personal crisis at our home and Horizon was there to help us out! Our air conditioning system had failed on Sunday over Memorial Day weekend. After calling our “regular” company and getting the answering service, who was no help at all, we called Horizon and spoke with an actual Horizon employee! She was so nice and friendly, and was able to get a technician to our home in just under an hour! The technician was also very friendly, and had the problem fixed quickly. The overall cost was a little more than I expected, but so was the level of service I received. I guess it’s true, you really do get what you pay for. With Horizon it’s fantastic customer service, and we will be using them again!
Careful and Considerate We noticed that our air conditioner was not keeping our house as cool as it had last year and seemed to run constantly. Your technician arrived the same afternoon, and fixed the problem right away. I was impressed with how careful he was, using drop cloths wherever he worked and wearing shoe covers when he came in and out of the house.
I just wanted someone to know that John Ryan is the best HVAC technician I ever had come and service my unit. He was friendly and very knowledgeable and left me with a great impression. You are lucky to have him as a representative of your company. He did a outstanding job and went over my entire system and spent time explaining what he was doing and how things worked.
